What is a good colchcicine dosage for a gout flare? thank you?

One regimen that has been used successfully is with 0.6 mg tablets. Take 2 to start and then 1 tab every hour until relief of pain or diarrhea occurs. Although I have prescribed this regimen in the past, I think a more civilized treatment is with indomethacin, 50 mgs every 8 hours with food. Usually 3 doses do the trick.

It depends what other meds you are taking. The current reccommendation of 50mg Uloric and 0.6mg colchicine daily works well in most cases. since these are both prescription medications, you will need to consult a Dr for this issue.
