How can i avoid tolerance developing of gabapentin? i suffer from insomnia, rls & neuropathy . it effectively serves me for said purpose but tolerance builds up & it looses effect for insomnia after every week of taking it regularly. thanx?

Gabapentin possesses a relatively short half-life, resulting in a need to take thrice daily to maintain effects, so what you see may be dose wearing-off, rather than tolerance. You will likely do better on Lyrica, which can be taken twice daily.
