Does long term use of Gabapentin or Pregabalin leads to desensitisation of neuro- receptors?? Is it true doctors? i have read it on some article, while i use it for my neuropathy and RLS, i am now concerned about further damage to my body?

I am suffering from acne like breakouts & constipation ever since i was put on Lyrica for neuropathy but had no such issue when i was on Neurontin. Are these listed side effects of Pregabalin? because if they are then i better switch to gabapentin?
Md recommended i change from Neurontin to lyrica (pregabalin) for peripheral neuropathy. Should i expect to have decreased feelings of numbness in toes and feet?
