I've never had a seizure or nerve pain, is it safe to take gabapentin for anxiety/insomnia? i've tried other meds with no success. thoughts on med?

Risky, but discuss: This option with your therapist and doctors. It has some good reports, but also some that are not at all impressive. Worse, the side effects and withdrawal risks can be big. Think hard before using it - especially for off-label conditions. Best!

Gabapentin: Some have used Gabapentin with success for anxiety. Since you say you've had little success with other medications, i encourage you to seek out psychotherapy (generally with a psychologist, etc) as a potent part of anxiety ; insomnia treatment. What kind of evaluation have you had for your difficulties? Have you been working with a psychiatrist?
