Can neurontin be used safely for years in case of neuropathy & rls ? i have been on gabapentin for about 8 months now & it works for me in relieving all symptoms but i am just concerned about long term usage side effects such as memory loss, etc.

Typical gabapentin side effects include drowsiness, sedation, dizziness, weight gain, swelling of feet and ankles. Over time, may need to increase dose and/or frequency. Lyrica, may work better later on, but now sounds like you are doing well.
