My sedementation rate went up from 19 to 39 does that mean the infection is becoming more aggressive my infection specialist said that my rates before it was 19 were not that high and one was 38 just wondering new outlook?

ESR of 38 is only mildly elevated and it is not a accurate indication for the degree of infection because there are other factors which can affect ESR.
