I got referral to neck ultrasound, my questions is what does this mean level 2a lymph nodes with sub centimetre diameter ovoid, morpology? i already seen ent specialist i dont have no throat cancer no infections or virus, so what looking for then?

Lymph nodes: In situations like this I like to sit down with the radiologist and ask advice as to how significant this finding is, whether additional studies like an MRI or follow-up ultrasound are advisable, whether consultation with another specialist would be helpful or whether the findings are insignificant and require no further study.
