I suffer from social anxiety, which result in rapid heartbeats. is there any medicine that can be effective & only taken as per need basis that can instantly control bpm? my doc. prescribed clonazepam however it doesn't work mostly, just sedates me?

Some prefer beta blockers. I prefer these to Clonazepam which can be very addicting. Used by many who preform or are speakers. Discuss with your Dr. Consider classic Transcendental Meditation. Go to TM.com. I have published research on TM.
