It varies: Most people can tolerate coming down at about 0.25 mg per week, which would take about 6 weeks. However, some people do get bad insomnia and other anxiety symptoms as well as other signs/symptoms of withdrawal (vertigo when standing up, skin itching, depersonalization). Some have to come down the final 0.5 mg or so by 0.125 per week or even every two weeks. Cbt works for anxiety as well.
