Ive read colorectal cancer is on the rise in young adults and ive have some blood on stool and paper after bm. had no pain if i take fiber i have no problems should i be worried about cancer? my dr just looked and said probably internal hemorrhoids?

Your doctor is correct. Hydrate well, eating high fiber diet and exercise in order to avoid constipation and straining then the hemorrhoid will resolve and rectal bleeding will disappear.

To address early onset colon cancer, a colonoscopy is recommend at 10 years prior to the age at which the youngest member in your family developed colon cancer. Hemorrhoids can cause enough blood loss to result in anemia. Get these treated, even if you have no symptoms.
