FIT can pick up any bleeding in the GI tract (from oral cavity to rectum) and upper airway bleeding such as nosebleed when you swallow the blood. NSAID can cause bleeding without polyp. Yes, lower GI bleed is a known side effect of NSAIDs without the presence of polyp.

Had upper GI scope. Finding non bleeding duodenum ulcer. Stomach was tested for h pylori - negative. Duodenum wasnt tested. Can HP only infect duodenum? Should duodenum also be tested for HP? I dont take meds that cause ulcers - have severe stress?
Im 22 & in April I had horrible stomach pain, a couple of weeks later I had an endoscopy & it showed multiple peptic ulcers, unknown cause (not from nsaids) Ive been on ppis since then, am I ever allowed to take Motrin again?
