The fact that you have fever means there is an abnormal event going on but the body is fighting it. It is not unusual for fever to be periodic. I do not know what you call fever since you did not share the temperature measured however it is obvious that there is change of temperature to cooler at night and it is the same for a normal person to have varying temperature as a normal(diurnal temp-).
