Wake up after half hour of sleeping choking,bp high. dr gave dilated 12.5mgdaily. stopped dilatrend for 1day to make echocardiogram&stress test& was gd. no symptoms now but read about compensate heart failure. could it be masked or its not the case?

You should talk with the doc who ordered your echocardiogram about your concerns. A history, physical exam, and echocardiogram will help you identify and possible heart failure.
