An abnormal ekg with normal variation means a heart condition? does anxiety cause abnormal ekg? i was having chest pains frequently, sometimes that comes and goes. diagnose with acid reflux. passed the stress test and my chest x-ray looks fine?

An EKG with normal variation should not be interpreted as abnormal. Normal variation does mean normal in medicine. Anxiety can cause sinus tachycardia or ectopic heart beats so the EKG result will be read as abnormal. You passed the stress test which rules out coronary insufficiency as the cause of the chest pain.
