Every now and then it feels like i have the wind knocked out of me. diaphragm area. feels like i lost a breath. this happens when my anxiety is high. this has been going on since the pandemic started. any tips on how to manage it better?

Frequent exercise + practice deep breathing technique: inhale by nose (1), hold breath as long as possible (2) then slowly breath out by mouth (3). So if you inhale for 2 seconds, you will hold your breath for 4 seconds and then breath out slowly and completely for 6 seconds then your breathing rate is only 5 breaths per minutes or you can do even slower 4 breaths/minutes when you advance.

Contact your regular doctor and rule out any lung pathology. Best approach subsequently is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Biofeedback
