It depends on how much sugar you eat and how high your blood sugar rises. Symptoms of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) vary depending on the severity. People can go to coma with severe hyperglycemia or you just have blurred vision, dry mouth, thirsty and voiding a lot in moderate cases. With mild hyperglycemia, you may not have any symptoms at all. Those can occur in patients with or without med.
