I have persistently high red blood cell count (no jak gene/adrenal/kidney tumor). last 3 months the lymph nodes on side of neck been really itchy. in a&e yesterday for abdominal pain and had high lymphocytes. should i see a doc about high rbc&lymphs?

You should give us all the numbers, total RBC count, Hb, Hct, MCV, MCH and total WBC count with lymphocyte percentage, so we may be able to offer some inputs.

Yes, follow up with your hematologist that you may be already established with based on the work up you had should help in clarifying new changes in top of your known polycythemia. It is possible that the new changes are due to a recent acute condition, however this is only a speculation that will have to be ruled in or out thoroughly.
