Went to the doc for cold sore and enlarged neck lymph node. its been 2.5 weeks lymph node still enlarged. ultrasound says bilateral reactive lymph nodes. all blood work normal. any ideas why its still enlarged? i think it feels a bit smaller?

It is not unusal for a lymph node to stay larger for quite some time and soemtimes even a little bit larger than the original size always after having an infection. Best to ignore it and let it settle down on its own.
