I was diagnosed with a uti & been on macrobid for 5 out of 7 days but took an over the counter uti test which is still showing positive for leukocytes and a faint positive for nitrites. should i be concerned that im not on the correct antibiotic?

If your symptoms have resolved the urine test should resolve with time or may not be a problem. Would follow symptoms and if still having symptoms may need further evaluation with PCP.
