Im taking 20mg daily of xarleto. all im hearing is the risk of bleeding, can someone explain that? and im just going to start bleeding from no where internally???

Xarelto is a direct anticoagulant so it has the side effect of exacerbating the bleeding process. You won't bleed from your gut if you do not have any gut lesion. Give example, if you have a bleeding duodenal ulcer or a hemorrhoid bleeding, Xarelto will make the bleeding heavier. In general, the risk of bleeding is low compared with the benefits with using anticoagulant so that's why we use it.
