Reaching a documented "7 weeks " in pregnancy does statistically reduce the incidence of spontaneous miscarriage, but will not eliminate that eventuality, as other causes can occur later in pregnancy. Lack of bleeding or cramping at "7 weeks" usually means the pregnancy is doing well at this point.
