Local trauma: Trauma to the ear canal can cause bleeding after ear procedures. This is usually not a significant injury and heals on its own. When the ear drum is damaged, hearing may be affected and does warrant close observation by your pediatrician or ENT specialist. Best to be safe and have it checked.

R/O OTITIS V TRAUMA: Q tips can often cause more harm and trauma to the ears either by scraping the canal or blocking the cerumen. She needs a through exam to differentiate and potentially antibiotic therapy. She should be seen ASAP, especially if fever develops
