You should probably wait for clotting to occur since you had an extraction. Your doctor should know about your health history as well your internist, call both for advice. Make sure you follow post extractions instructions..

In most cases MDs recommend starting anticoagulants one day after a surgical procedure. Of course it’s best to check with your MD but this has been my experience.

I now have what the dentist calls a visible, "healing cap" over my dental implant. Does this mean it is just a screw cap and NOT an abutment?
Is it safe ( why) to take four 500mg amoxicillin tablets 1 hour before dental extraction/ implant appoint then 1 tablet 4 times per day for 10 days.
