A member asked:

What does 1.4 x .5 x 0.9 cm well-circumcised slightly lobular hypoechoic nodule with a septation mean? and what does 'there's no associated shadowing or abnormal internal vascularity mean as well?' also multiple nodules under 0.9 cm found as well?

Multple thyroid nodules are generally benign but a hypoechoic nodule, which is a solid nodule, can be malignant and shouldn't be overlooked because of presence of multiple nodules. Absence of shadowing and internal vascularity and small size are favorable features for you. Nevertheless I feel it's best to have evaluation & follow-up by both an endocrinologist& head and neck surgeon with expertise
