A member asked:

What does "very hypoechoic nodules with increased vascularity" mean? is that indicative of cancer? nodules are not 1cm.the larger one is 0.40cm x 19cm

Nodule: Hypoechoic generally means that the lesion is more likely to be cystic (contains fluid), however, increased vascularity is concerning. depending on the history, location and presence of other symptoms fine needle aspiration for cytological analysis or a biopsy should be considered.
