I have an enlarged moveable submandibular lymph node on the same side that i have a large cavity. cavity being repaired in 3 weeks, has no abscess. i will ask my doctor but in meantime my question is can this node swell due to cavity with no abscess?

Tooth decay can be caused and accelerated by gum infection, which does not have to become an abscess to cause lymph node enlargement. Consult your dentist for possible antibiotic treatment awaiting the cavity repair.
