6 yo boy. i took my son to the ent and the doctor found his adenoids and a submandibular ganglion. is the lymph node related to the adenoids?

A lymph node is not the same as a ganglion. If this was a ganglion (would be unusual), it is likely not related to the adenoids. If there is an enlarged lymph node, this could be related, especially when someone has had a lot of congestion or infections related to the enlarged adenoids.
