For months ive had fullness of the ear, pain in the ear/sinus/jaw, and have 3 large submandibular lymph nodes. us report said most prominent one is oval but over 2cm and no evident hilum. internet says it may be cancer but doc says theyre fine. why?

By what you describe, you probably had viral or bacterial infection with reactive lymph node enlargement. The lymph nodes should regress by time, especially the big one. If it does not regress or it gets bigger, biopsy is warranted.
