The big question is can you now sleep without the lorazepam? The medication could create dependence and if you do not need it you may want to try sleep hygiene without medication. Avoid bright lights, go to sleep about same time avoid gadgets and television or excitation about time to go to bed e.t.c. Sleep hygiene could be found on the internet. Make sure to follow with your doctor.

Dr. A. gives excellent recommendations, and it is wise to adopt these. Best in the long run, to stop the nitetime lorazepam, as over time, tolerance develops and you need more for efficacy. Unfortunately, paradoxical effects may also develop, making it more difficult to get to sleep, but also gets tougher to titrate off secondary to habituation.
