OK, but not repeat: The fact that you asked this question shows that you know to avoid alcohol use with Ativan (lorazepam). Benzodiazapines and alcohol are both CNS depressants and mixing them can be risky. You took 1/2 of one Ativan (lorazepam) pill, and had alcohol about 7 hrs later. You are not in danger this time, but to be safe avoid alcohol within 12 hours of a dose of Ativan (lorazepam). Finally, do NOT drive at all if you are mixing these!
