Frequent urination at night (nocturia) may occur with normal kidney fx even you limit your fluid intake. Voiding volume is very important in the management of this disorder. A voiding diary and a thorough evaluation with a urologist are required for the diagnosis and treatment. Nocturia needs be treated for your sleep health or vice versa, insomnia +/- overactive bladder syndrome are the culprits.

It happens sometimes and can happen normally, in diabetics, sleep apnea etc. If you get restful sleep and your blood tests and UA are normal do not worry.
