Can a minor make their parents leave during a physical exam? if so, what happens after the exam is done?

In this situation the physician will have a chaperone in the exam room during the physical examination process. It is my understanding that He/she can discuss the findings with the parents only after getting permission from the minor child. I personally, have never encountered such an issue however.

In Washington state, there are many conditions that you can be examined and cared without parental consent when you are younger than 18. You can google "providing healthcare to minors under Washington law" for more details.
