Do your parents need to be in the room while you have a pelvic exam if you're a minor?

No: You may certainly request that your parents not be in the room, although the doctor, whether a man or a woman, will most likely have a female assistant present. However, i think it would be unusual for a doctor to agree to your request if your parent insisted on being there.
