A member asked:

F/u question- what is an inflammatory exudate on a pap result of asc-us- whats an example of an inflammatory exudate? could this be because of having my period when the pap was done? how is the exudate treated? please help so nervous?

There is no cause for concern. Do follow your doctor's advice for follow-up tests. If your PAP is negative three years in a row, your doctor may limit the examination to once every three years. Wish you good health!
