ASCUS: Confirm with your physician if this is ASCUS (which can be due to inflammation). If it is ASCUS then an HPV test should have been done with it as a reflex. If it wasn't ask for an HPV test. If the HPV is positive for high risk HPV then you need a colposcopy to exclude cervical dysplasia.
