When i catch the epididymis it is swollen and it hurts. i went to a urologist where he examined the epididymis and i was not in pain because at that time the epididymis was not swollen. sometimes epididymis hurts me and other times not when press it?

If the urologist did test you including your urine and STD(Sexually Transmitted Disease) screen, if you are sexually active, then you should not worry as much because sometimes if you put enough pressure on certain areas it may be tender and does not mean disease state. You may want to check why you keep checking, like could it be a religious guilt; and probably use condom with sexual activities.

You do not seem to have inflammatory epididymitis, possibly local irritation. Suggest stop touching it for a while, wear a support underwear. I think you will be well.
