A member asked:

Should i ask the urologist if i have a swollen testicle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Andrew Siegel answered

Yes: Should see a doc asap...Might just be a minor infection or other insignificant malady, but could be serious issue such as torsion or tumor...You do not want to fool around with this!

Urologist noted a small epididymal cyst on the bottom of my right testicle, which I can feel myself. Did ultrasound, no abnormalities noted. However, the cyst wasn't found either. Is it common for epididymal cysts not to show up on ultrasounds?
