Age 79 female just got back result of pre operative panel for hbsag, hepatitis b surface antigen (clia) 754.00 how can one interpret this? having a laparoscopic surgery for gall bladder stone. can surgery be carried out?

There is no standardization of reports for this test. Best is to ask the ordering MD or see the normal range valus which should come with the report
