Gallstones are : amebasketinnable to laparoscopic intervention. Kidney stones are usually paases or removed by " basketing" using catheterization, lithotripsy or in rare cases open nephrotomy ( very rare). Please consult both a general surgery and a urologist. Probably safer not to do both operations at the same time.
