There are NO rigorous studies involving marijuana smoking, as contrasted to tobacco smoking, BUT nonetheless, I would be suspicious that the answer is compelling. Since you are considering revisional surgery, why not stop smoking period and see if success can be achieved? (See comment regarding post-op risks that are known. Ask your doctors if they are aware of the complications.)
