It depends: It depends on what the doctor visit is for, and whether there are reasons the doctor might wonder about drug use. The most frequent type of drug test done is through urine, and this would be positive the day after use.

Why do you ask?: Your physician will not check you for cannabis use without your consent. A screen for illegal drugs is not part of a routine physical, and should you wish to discuss anything at all, including your smoking cannabis, you can count on your confidences being kept. Weed has little to recommend it, and perhaps you can find approaches to life that will make you happier without it.
