My neck vein gets swollen at the bottom of neck. pea size shape and it comes and goes, mainly when bending over, exercising and sometimes sleeping. it goes back to normal within minutes. ultrasound didnt show anything. what could it be?

A prominent normal vein . It becomes engorged on exertion. You cant see it when you sleep.
