I have burning stabbing pain in my esophagus between shoulder blades. drinking hot beverages burn when hitting that area. when hot water hits that spot when i shower it hurts it too. is this gerd ? also pain in right shoulder blade.but not internal?

Your described symptoms are not consistent with GERD. If these symptoms have been present for weeks, you should see your doctor for a thorough exam and a referral to see a GI doctor may be needed.
