Some squamous cells can become malignant, but "squamous" itself never means cancer. Your skin is covered in billions of squamous cells; so are the linings of your vagina, mouth, nose, etc. Many or most skin and genital area cysts are lined with squamous cells, so this is a normal finding. The main result here is there there is no evidence of either malignancy or infection. Congratulations!

It is extremely rare for a peritoneal cyst to have squamous cells. There is a chance that the needle got contaminated with the suamous cells of the skin, Great news is that there is no evidence of malignancy.
