The pain could be from the gallstones and subacute cholecystitis or from the liver (hepatalgia). We can be more precise with a physical exam. Please patiently wait for the liver and biliary tract ultrasound next week. In the meantime if pain gets worse, especially after a meal or fever develops, you should go to ER.

If the ultrasound shows no gall bladder pathology, I would suspect a radiculopathy caused by either a primary inflammation of the nerve root or an impingement of the nerve root from a spur or a bulging disc in a vertebra in the upper midspine. Shingles can present like that but a rash usually develops within a seek. A neurologist can evaluate you and order appropriate tests in order to advise you.
