Herpes causes some discomfort followed by tiny blisters which open and heal. Red spots are not herpes. Pl use prophylaxis when you have sex.

The big question is, if you noticed, did the partner have cold sores on their lips?. Herpes can be contracted from above the belt to below the belt, known as HERPES-2. If any symptoms arise get tested immediately. Always practice safe sex.
