How long does reflux last for? i have a hiatal hernia and esophagitis. today ive had it for 10 hours i had heartburn type of pain for 6 hours and been feeling nauseous the last 4 hours. its got to the point where its in my throat. cant sleep. help?

What you described is more than a simple reflux and warrants an in-person evaluation by a doctor, preferable a GI specialist.
