Hi, i am taking my last capsule of macrobid macrocrystals-monohydrate (100 mg) and my uti symptoms persist (frequent urination, difficulty emptying bladder). should i give it a couple more days before going to an urgent care?

Nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin®) cures most UTIs, but some UTI bacteria are resistant to it. If it were going to help, symptoms would be gone within 2-3 days. Return to your doctor (or urgent care) to confirm continued UTI and prescribe another antibiotic (probably levofloxacin or similar) and insist that they culture your urine to determine exactly which antibiotics will be effective.
