If you are not satisfied with your current doctor, it would entirely appropriate to see a different doctor. Consultation with a diabetes/endocrinology specialist is warranted. Wish you good health!

Make sure you do your part with diet and exercise. If having any other symptoms let your doc know. If you do not trust your doc it will become increasingly difficult for you.
