I had sinus ballonplasty. i was prescribed fluticasone 50mcg "2 sprays in each nostril everyday for 6 doses" i misunderstood the label and did 2 sprays each nostril 3x a day for 10 days. i stopped the medication. are their long term effects from this?

It is not likely to have long term consequences. Some patients experience irritation and nosebleeds. Discuss with ENT and please follow up.

Fluticasone nasal spray has mentioned dosage of 2 puffs in each nostril. Some of the liquid always goes in my throat or drips and falls out of the nose . Is it safe if I do 3-4 sprays per nostril to compensate for this loss of medication?
